Vodafone Supports Te Punanga Reo o Takitumu
In a heartwarming gesture of support and community spirit, Vodafone has generously sponsored cash and an Active 3 tablet device to Te Punanga Reo o Takitumu. This contribution will significantly enhance the resources available for our total immersion Māori childcare center, helping us provide a richer educational experience for our tamariki.
Jade Dyer, Marketing Analyst at Vodafone, expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative and the importance of supporting Te Reo Māori and culture. "My partner and our whānau network speak fluent Māori, and I am incredibly proud that I will be able to raise my children in a Māori-speaking environment," said Jade, who is currently expecting her first child. "Vodafone is committed to supporting local communities and cultural preservation, and we wish Te Punanga Reo o Takitumu all the best in their mission."
Bonnie Emile, Marketing Manager at Vodafone, also voiced her support for the initiative. "We support the sustainability of Te Reo Māori for future generations, it's equally important that we contribute in supporting a modern relevance in running administrative services efficiently," said Bonnie. "The technology provided by Vodafone will allow Te Punanga Reo o Takitumu to spend more quality time focusing on their tamariki pōtiki, rather than being tied up with administrative tasks. This partnership is about supporting their mission to preserve Māori culture in a modern world."
Te Punanga Reo o Takitumu is dedicated to fostering a love for Te Reo Māori and culture among our youngest learners. Vodafone's support will not only provide immediate benefits through enhanced technology and resources but also contribute to the long-term sustainability of Te Reo Māori.
Te Punanga Reo is thankful to Vodafone, Jade Dyer, and Bonnie Emile for their invaluable support and for believing in the vision of a thriving, Māori-speaking community. Together, we are ensuring a brighter future for our tamariki and the preservation of our cultural heritage.
